Good to see that Peter took some time off for a much needed vacation. At 9:10 Pete calls out the scam when you wire money to people you do not know. Obviously you should do business with companies/people you trust first (like Peter). But the BEST WAY to PROTECT yourself when wiring money is to use an American Express credit card (or Master or VISA that offers the same protection) to WIRE the money. American Express will WIRE the money on your behalf for a $50 fee. If you are scammed, then you call American Express and they put the money back in your account and go after the fraudsters directly! Always, always protect yourself before wiring money to people you do not know.

People need to realize ,you get what you pay for

Trust the seller. But that doesn’t mean they won’t try to swindle you. The issue I’ve run into is when they misrepresent the condition of the watch, missing links, papers in foreign language. Etc… and this is from popular grey market dealers who show an honest side but in reality con artists trying to make an extra buck. Other than my AD, the best experience I have had is with Swiss Watch Expo.

Nice one Peter. If you don't recognise the sender and/ or you do not expect the text and there is a link or picture do not click it. Delete the message then call the person if you know them. Buying is a nightmare out there. Unfortunately there are many fakes and frankensteins plus also stolen watches flooding the grey market so you have to be careful. Many times the seller and watch are fine but you have to be very careful.
